If you want your students to keep any new learning in their memory you have to recall it within 24 hours. If it's not done it will drop to 75%.If it's not used within 48 hour it drops to 25%.To show them a picture of a new word is an excellent learning activity. I do the same.

We are taking one half from ONE hour NOT FROM HOURS and adding it to previous hour. It's singular.

1. It could be:
a. count and non-count nouns
We use much for non-count nouns. Biscuits are count nouns. We use - many.
b. a lot is missing "of"
d. Some and any
some - use in a positive statement
any - use in a negative statement. There aren't any biscuits....
