What is the suitable english word?

What is the suitable verb? Going into translating some dialect foreign languages to english could simply lead to some actions which are not normally used in english language. In some cases cerificates is not needed if you have a strong teaching background, here in Libya native english speakers could easily become teachers even without having teaching lisence. and teaching english here is well paid job, especially for natave english teachers.

Sometimes my students use words we don't know,and making word buildings we are not familiar with, but it's correct.

Learn: to get knowledge or skill in a new subject or activity.
Acquire: to obtain something.
So there's a different use for each word.

we learn knowledge but we acquire money, book,....etc

Teaching adults depends on their lifstyle

Hi, I think there is a huge difference between teaching young students and adult, because there's the same difference in their thinking. The adult need to learn english to solve their problems in their life e.g nurses wanna learn about medical issues , engineers wanna deal with technical languages ....
