Hi! I believe 'that' is being used in these instances to say: "It had been like dying, that (particular occasion/instance of) sliding down the mountain pass". Hi Khairul! The first answer is fine, as it is talking about the concept of 'guitar playing'. It is closest in meaning to one of the meanings of the 2nd answer, which also treats 'guitar playing' as a concept. The other meaning of the 2nd answer refers to the specific guitar in the picture.
