I agree with EC, but when you're using the options for "When he was in his late 30s/early 20s" a comma should be used afterward:

When he was in his late 30s, he got married.

I would suggest adding option "D: all of the above" to the test, because all of the answers are correct. "The boy is playing guitar" and "The boy is playing the guitar" have the same meaning. "The boy is playing a guitar" is also correct despite the "a = one" problem someone pointed out, because the...

Honestly, using "I had wanted to go to Tokyo since 10 years ago" doesn't make much sense to me because of the word "since" - it seems to be saying that the speaker did at one point want this in the past, but doesn't now.
