Well, I think presentations are often quite useful. (I teach at a university in Korea, where the level of English probably a little lower than in China's east.) My students (Korean and Chinese) try to C&P a PPT too much, but with careful practice on how to give a presentation and selection of items ...

Hi. I teach English at a Korean University. Maybe we can hook up. Our next semester starts at the beginning of March. I will be teaching a number of courses, but I think possible exchanges could be made in + (TOEIC) Listening for freshmen + News listening for Senior English majors + Advanced tourism...

In Korea, there are some FEW places that will consider some-one over 64. Most draw the line at fifty or even younger.

I know some-one who left China after teaching there for a long time. She was 65. She got a job in Mongolia.

My experience with fellow teachers who have taken SIT courses has always been positive. I'm not sure, but I believe they have a strictly online course as well as on-site courses. My own experience with Serious Teacher is that it is not serious. My experience with ICAL is that it is well thought-out ...

Betty Azar's books are clear and filled with good exercises. However, she does not use controlled vocabulary. There is also a book called Fun with Grammar.
