Korea non natives?

Unread post by Bohsjeff »

Hi,

Myself (an Irish national) and my partner (a Russian national are looking for work in Korea. Is it possible for her to get work as a TEFL teacher considering she has an English taught Msc in Economics, Msc in Finance and a Degree in Arts all English taught.

Can anyone please advise if we are waisting our time looking and if so what countries can we both a pply to??

Any advice would help!

Thanks,

Jeff

It is just about impossible for people not from the designated countries to teach English in ROK. I was told that we couldn't hire a PhD in English from the Philippines. The law is pretty rigid. On the other hand, she might be able to get a job teaching economics or finance. ~~~~
