Hi kevcan,

Did you find any information on Evergreen English Training Center?
I have been in contact with Karen, she is in charge of the foreign teachers department.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I have not been able to find any info. I will be traveling to work at this school in Feb, and if able to, I will let you know how things pan out.

I am currently working at Evergreen - started the first of Dec. It is a fairly new school and their marketing, up until this point, has been focusing on the Chinese market. So far, it appears that they treat their foreign teachers like gold - besides some of the cultural differences. See ya soon!!

If you have a question about Evergreen - send me a message. I'm not logged into this website everyday but I do check it a couple of times a week. Like I said, the school is fairly new and their marketing has been focused on the students and the Chinese market. Evergreen should have something soon that is in English for potential teachers. So far the experience has been good - really busy with 'Western Christmas' and now 'Chinese New Year,' but overall it has been a positive experience.

Bye for now!

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for your response. What has been your experience with lesson planning? Is there a book you are teaching out of or do you prepare a lesson yourself for each class?

Thanks!

I sent you a private message with some useful details. They will provide you with everything you will need, but a book or two with children's games and icebreakers might be useful. Also pack a couple forks - I will buy a couple from you ;) They are really expensive here. Do not rely on any Google programs here for translations and such.
