Advice about TEFL

Unread post by Guidoo »

Dear Sirs
I am planning to enrole tefl course in Florance.the TEFL advisor told me that my language level is
quite good as I already had an interview with her.As for my writing skills she said to me that if I work on that I could easily enrole.Should I trust her?

Any advice??

TEFL simply means teaching English as a foreign language, nothing more. So a piece of paper stating TEFL certificate might not be worth more than the paper printed on it. I assume you are seeking a qualification that would be recognised internationally by most employers. try Cambridge celta, icelt, or TKT.These courses or tests are available throughout the world, and most likely in Florence also. try here http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/teachin ... fications/
If you are not convinced, make a random search of efl employment, and see what the employers are asking for in regards to qualifications. Random online questions are a waste of time and money.
