Evaluating/Marking students

Unread post by beataoz »

Hello,
I have searched the forum, but haven't found anything to deal with marking/evaluating.
Maybe we could share some ideas?
How do you evaluate your students (apart from tests where we all have some kind of system stating how many points a student should score to get a given mark)?
Do you do dictations? What is your marking system?
Do you mark students reading aloud? How? How many mistakes do you allow?
The same with oral performance - how many pronunciation and/or grammatical mistakes do you allow?

Thank for your help

I have some views on assessing students!

Here is some food for thought on the topic!

Regular tests are superficial.

Criteria on assessing students orally.
