Hi everybody,
this is my first visit and my first post.
I have a question for the community (well, more than one):
are there any websites for online language exchange that are suitable for kids?
I am going to apply for a teaching project ( lower secondary school, Italy) and I have to provide a proposal in which I present all the activities I am planning to do with the kids. I was thinking about online language exchanges but I am doubtful because the kids are all underage. What should I do? Are there any safe websites where kids can find penpals? Do you think that creating my own account (the class account) at services such as interpal.net or papora.com and let them use it all together under my supervision is a bad idea? Have you ever tried this kind of resources?
I have no teaching experience yet (but so many doubts to make up for it ) so I hope you share your wisdom with me.
Thanks,
Francesca

Re: Online Language Exchange for kids?
Hi Francesca,
we have a forum here on English Club where you can look for penpals (or keyboard pals) for your students. You can propose a project or link in to one that someone else has proposed.
