My level of proficiency is almost upper intermediate
but I sometimes find problems in constructing sentences.

I want to know what is the proper way to start a conversation with a travel agent or travel agency when you want to make a fligt reservation.

For ex.
If I start like...

I planning for a trip to "someplace", and I want make a flight reservation for "someplace". I want to leave on some specific date

like If I say...
I want to book a flight for canada, and I want to leave on june 1st.
