Learning or Acquiring

Unread post by farsiwant » Wed Jul 04, 2007 10:34 pm

Hi everyone How are you doing? :D

What is the difference between learning and acquiring?
Which is better for teaching English as a second language?

Thank you all, with my regards.

Hello and welcome here in this lovely website.

Learn: to get knowledge or skill in a new subject or activity.
Acquire: to obtain something.
So there's a different use for each word.

we learn knowledge but we acquire money, book,....etc
