Have you made ESL a second career?

Unread post by akicooke »

Hello,

I am the research assistant for an author who is writing a book tentatively titled Rockin' in Retirement: Thirty Cool Things You Can Learn, Accomplish and Enjoy in the Second Half of Life! The current chapter we are working on is "Teach English as a Second Language."

We are looking for people aged 50 or older, who have already retired from a profession who are now working as ESL instructors (either in the U.S. or abroad) and have a really interesting story to tell.

If you are willing to share your story with us that would be great!

We are also seeking people aged 50 and older for a chapter on "Learning to Speak Spanish." So if you learned to speak Spanish at the age of 50+, we'd like to hear from you too.

Thank you,
Amy Cooke
