great website for ESL listening, and real spoken English

Unread post by china232 » Thu May 15, 2008 3:21 am

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what fellow teachers of ESL thought of my website http://www.china232.com . I would love your suggestions to improve it so it will be more effective for teaching ESL students. Please listen to the ESL podcasts and give some suggestions. Many students seem to like the podcasts and listen to the files on their ipods or computers. Do you think this is useful in a classroom environment? Thanks for the help.

Hi, Addison

I had a good look at the site and listened to some of the podcasts. It's absolutely fantastic, very useful. The dialogues are interesting and there's always the possibility of finding something relevant. I already downloaded 2 dialogues which I'll be using. I wish other talented teachers that have this ability could share projects like yours, and free! Congratulations! :D

Feel free to visit mine, it's a completely different site, but always based on the principle that students must be exposed to natural language, reading and listening as much as possible; such exposure leads to the production of the language in the future, written or oral, almost without the "painful" excessive drillings of rules and grammar.
