I can't help you, sorry. I don't know anything about teaching in Thailand.

You may get more answers from users of this forum if you give more info about yourself; eg:

have you taught before?
do you have any teaching qualifications?
what sort of work experience do you have?

Apply online for teaching jobs in China at the Council of International Educational Exchange (CIEE), a trusted site that has an excellent record of accomplishment in overseas teacher placement.

An IELTS is not a TESOL qualification. In fact it is a test for a non native speaker of English, of about Upper intermediate (B2) level. Try for the Cambridge CELTA or the TKT might be more convenient for you, as you simply take the teacher's test. You will probably these courses or TKT same place as you took IELTS.

In regards to Thailand, a Cambridge TESOL or Trinity with degree is a must. The advertising I've seen are looking for English native speakers. If you want to impress them with your English level, you would need a 9.
