CELTA Certificate

Unread postby Cassandra » Fri Feb 28, 2014 3:59 pm

I am currently a student at university studying TESOL as part of my degree and will be doing the CELTA course in June but I am so nervous because I have never taight before. It is a four week intensive course and basically we will have a class to ourselves with people observing and taking notes and we have to make lesson plans and everything and I'm so nervous I won't be able to do it. Is there any advice and things I could do and think about before doing the certificate that would help? :?

You could ask the school to give you their reading list and start reading some of the books before the course. Once the course starts, you won't have much time for reading.
