lexical development...

Unread postby eric_p_m » Sat Feb 03, 2007 7:19 pm

Dear SummerSnow,

Could you please clarify what you mean by lexical reading? Are you talking about improving your students' lexical development through reading? I use contextual discourse in thematic situations for my students and I think what you are talking about is not unlike my curriculum.

Sincerely,

Thank you for your attention. What I mean is teaching English reading ( advanced level) in the lexical way.My purpose is not to help them build a large vocabulary, but to improve their reading comprehension.

contextual discourse...

Unread postby eric_p_m » Sun Feb 04, 2007 6:05 am

Dear SummerSnow,

Lexicality is a crucial factor when pragmatically implementing contextual discourse analysis. Take advantage of your knowledge concerning advanced grammar, stylistic concerns, cultural norms, and critical thinking skills. Have your students collaborate while you instruct them about how native speakers utilize the aforementioned areas of advanced writing to drastically augment their reading comprehension.

Sincerely,

Eric Paul Monroe
