Dear teacher,
"I had a daughter so depressed she hadn't combed her hair or come out of her pajamas in a month, with her baby."
Q: Let me analyse the sentence.
"I had a daughter (who is) so depressed(.) She hadn't combed her hair or come out of her pajamas in a month, with her baby."
What is modified by "with her baby"? she or come out and
combed?
All the best, :)

"I had a daughter who, at the time, was so depressed she hadn't combed her hair or come out of her pajamas in a month, with her baby."
Sorry. :( 'with her baby' doesn't make any sense to me, either.
Oh! Maybe it means this, I had a daughter who was so depressed with having had a baby that she hadn't....
