hi, im confused on how i say these sentences: which are correct? and is there any other way i can re-write these sentences??
1. He might as well of have had stayed home.
2. He might as well of have stayed home.
3. He might as well of had stayed home.
4. He might as well of stayed home.

1. If (he,she, it) have had gone home....
2. If (he,she,it ) had have gone home...
also:
1. If (I,we,they) have had gone home...

im confused on the usage of have and had together and seperately.

Your sentence should read He might as well HAVE stayed home.

The combination '*had have', by the way, never occurs in English.
