I was searching for Time's recommendation on books and I came across their list of 10 greatest books of all time. Here's the list,
1. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
2. Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
3. War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
4. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
5. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
6. Hamlet by William Shakespeare
7. The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald
8. In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust
9. The Stories of Anton Chekhov by Anton Chekhov
10. Middlemarch by George Eliot
Most of them are classic novels. And personally, I would replace war and peace with little women. War and peace is boring!

I have read 7 out of 10 greatest novels ever, may I be called almost an educated person?
I am pleased to view 3 Russian writers and wonder why there is no Dostoevsky, he is not less interesting than Tosltoy, and this is not an irony

Almost? I'm the one in my family who actually read for pleasure (sometimes), but next to you I'm nothing.Tora wrote:No way! :P It was nice to read it, especially the battle episodes...LennyeTran wrote:I was searching for Time's recommendation on books and I came across their list of 10 greatest books of all time.
