it's only tradition...
It's a fact that all about eating depends on the culture that we live in.Hard to say I am a ''gurme'' but I don't believe that what we eat doesn't shows who we are,and in addition to that I wonder what ''halal'' means?
P.S:Is it a religious word???

"HALAL" is an arabic world. which mean that the animal goats, cows, rabits and so on -which are allowed in Isalm to eat - must be cut from the nick by a sharp knife before eat and ckock .
"HALAL" genrally means whatever that "allah" -god- allow it to be done. for example . to eat cows meat is "halah" to eat Ham is "Haram" the oppisite of halalwhich is not allowded
. ihope you've got it ;)

The option "I eat anything" is missing from your list... do you think it to be an impossible situation?
About "halal" and how animals must be killed, I've seen on TV the whole process, and I must say that it's unacceptable by those loving nature and defending animals' rights. It is an extremely cruel procedure, since the animal's death is very long and hurting...
