Chat rooms are useful and funny just when few people are connected at the same time. Unfortunately, you always find that rooms jammed since too many users are trying to speak at the same time. This is why I generally stay away from chat rooms, and use MSN Messenger instead.

Yes, Lucia, using a chat you can invite people to private rooms.
The main point is, however, that with MSN you can see just the ones you want in your list, in advance. I find this much more comfortable...

There was a time where I used ESL chat.
But I decided to have a long long break with this time.
And chose a long long time for the forums.

I didn't know there was one!
I must admit I know from previous chat rooms that I prefer the forums. You can get involved when you have time with a variety of topics and a variety of people. It probably isn't as overwhelming either.

I know that in EC is a chat room but I never visited,I don`t like chat rooms.
