"me-first" attitude

Post by Ali Yousef »

Oh dear! I have split the tea.
Dear me! Aren’t you ready?
Dear viewer, Dear listener;

Dear Dixie & Dear pooh_bear;
I think I will make
a huge
pasta
dinner.

It sounds delicious.
And big, however,
I can not eat it all
on my own
my dear listener.

But you are welcome
to come over
and join me
my dear patient reader.

A language does have its limits,
but the verse
that can be created from it is
only as limited as are the abilities
of the one who writes.

I suppose I am willing
to contribute hereafter,
to avail this treasury opportunity
and to communicate as a new member.

and to offer to the lovely
and the most magnetic
keepers of the boards;
The Moderators: Dixie and pooh_bear,
now the results of my efforts
my own modulator style of poetry, I swear.

I guess I will draw my pen
and humbly bring to you
"ME-FIRST" attitude.

She told all near relatives
This which what I have inscribed
as a
“ME-FIRST” attitude

“Soon I shall be a princess among the women, I bet.
Never more to be as a watch on a strap he can wear.
Never more, to be set, on his right wrist or his left.
For I shall twist him round, as a ring on my finger, it is a dare.

He will flare up, will burn and will be afire,
if a familiar figure or unfamiliar
attempts to draw me round or to be nearer.

He will break out like fire
and his face will flame with anger,
if he discovers that I‘m having an affair
with another figure.

If he spots me acting
in a suspicious manner,
or if he gets the wind of attending
an ulterior matter, his eyes will be full of fire.

if we walk to town and I strut, I swagger,
and some young men eyelids’ flicker
or another young man eye’s winks,
contrives; plans or invents something clever,
He will feel terrible, and he will struggle
and he will have a bad stutter.

You will see him
between my hands
weak than weakened.

You will see him
between my feet
as leaves of autumn.

I won't be merely a princess
among the women
but also a fairy princess
with magical power.

I won’t let him take
a good,
long,
hot shower. ”

I am warmly surprised to discover
that my first words "me-first"
that I called 'poetry' are well received.

But it is my deep hope
that a poem of yours, Dixie, that you keep
is kindly to be revealed
so that I can enjoy it and read.

Wish you all the best

Dixie does not write poetry. She just doesn't have the talent ;)

I found you to be
a beautifully
romantic sort
of genius
instead of keeping
your talent and poetry
so light and ambiguous.
