a sentence

Post by Vega »

Hi.

There's a sentence in my EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION FORM and it seem to be incorrect:

NAME OF PEOPLE WHO CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH RECOMMENDATIONS

Don't you think it should be:

1. The name of people who can provide you with recommendations.

2. Names of the people who can provide you with recommendations.

Sounds good to me... I would probably use "names" instead of "name"... But it doesn't sound bad... Of course I can be wrong.

I think "name" is correct. It's an order sentence that is similar like this :"Open the door"or "Sit down, please"
