Hi
When someone call you and you can not speak because you are out of home, should we say sorry I am out or sorry I am away or something else ?
Thanks
I am away or out

Re: I am away or out
"I am away (from home)" and "I am out" are both correct, so you could say either. :)

I am out is better if you are telling people that you are out of the office or home.
I am away is better if you are telling callers that you are on vacation.
