Correct use of affect and effect

Post by Moonshin »

I'm confused when to use the two. Can you please tell me if I have use them correctly in the following sentence?

"I care about the issues that effect you and how they affect you."

"I care about the issues that affect you and how they affect you."

To have an effect on = to affect
