Hello English Native Speakers
I want to ask about substituting (because) with (for). Can I say something like:
"I can't come to the party for I have some business to do"
?
What I know is that it's archaic or formal but correct.
But my boss says its not even correct!
And we have a dare!
So please let me know if I win or lose the dare
Thank you for helping out. Really appreciate it
For and because

Re: For and because
Archaic and highly unnatural. Do no use in conversation!
