Hello,

1. What a piece of work is man!

Is the above sentence correct?

In my opinion, It should be 'What a piece of work man is!'

In spite of its structure, I am not able to understand the meaning of the sentence.

Could you please explain the meaning of it?

Yes, your suggested version would be the standard word order.
