3 'do not' in a sentence

Postby Nami Nami » Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:08 am

Dear teacher,

Is the below sentence grammatically correct? Is there a better way to write it?

If you do not mind, I will assume you do not have any preference if I do not receive your reply by Friday?

Better: If you do not mind, unless I receive your reply by Friday I will assume you do not have any preference.
