If there is anyone wants to chat with me on the MSN messenger:
1. First, I should know where you are from simply because we
don't have the same time between two countries.
2. Then, we can choose a particular time to chat!

It's my pleasure to meet you, Fahrenheit. You said that you would be very glad if I write you back in forum, right? And I did it! It sounds like that you like History, isn't it? Which country's history do you like the best? I like histroy, too. Maybe we can talk about it another day! By the way, I don't have skype. I'm really sorry that I can't chat with you......But you can keep in touch with me by sending me e-mails!

Anyway, nice to meet you!

Hey Robert!!!
Nice to meet you . Yes, I am intersted in history, becouse it is very intersting and in my opinion useful. There are many reason learning history one of which are necessity in our days life. You know one man has sad: History teaches people, but people never learn history. So if we realize mistakes which happen in the past we will be able do not do somthing like that. Also i am intersted in reading fiction. Different kind of it.
Actualy i like modern history. The most XIX-XXI centuries althougt we are learning only XV centure. I like lithuanian history and european histoty in these centuries. The first and the second world war are the most exiting, becous of its significant to world. ohh it was cruel times many innocent people had been killing for nothing as I know during second world war had been killed 50 million people and many became invalids. Actualy i am reading a fiction now about consentration camp. Many people had been deported from all over the world, people who was against the nazism...
We have to make an appointment to speak about that.

Why did everyone in the city drink from the well?
a) It was in the cenrte of the city.

Here is your question:
Now, in the heart of that city was a well whose water was cool and crystalline, from which all the inhabitants drank, even the king and his courtiers, for there was no other well.

Why did everyone in the city drink from the well?
a) It was in the cenrte of the city.
b) It was the only well in the city.
c) The water in the well was excelent.
d) The water was good enough for the king and his counrtiers.

Here is my answer:
1.I'll choose b) because of the sentence form the text------ "for there was no other well"
2."no other well" means that there isn't any well in the city.
Meaning:If the inhabitants want to drink, they can only
drink by the well which is in the heart of the city.

PS:
1.The word "well" isn't the same as the word "good" in this
text.(It doesn't mean that something is perfect, good.)
Here is its another meaning:

well (HOLE)
noun [C]
meaning:a deep hole in the ground from which water, oil, or
gas can be obtained
example:an oil well
well water

2.I'm sorry I replied your post lately. I'll take a big exam on May.
The exam will decide which senior high school I will study in.
But I'll reply your posts as soon as possible. :)

Do you want to talk about it on the MSN messenger?

Actualy i am now reading a fiction about consentration camp. Many people had been deported from all over the world to them, people who was against the nazism...

Later you will be able to find me in skype, my nick name is fahrenheit9119 or something like that :)
I am afraid but i think i have cold, i have a temperature, my bones are going to kille me they broke me, my throat is also ill but i still hope to go to school tomorrow.
By the way we have time differences so it might be confusing to connect to each other directly, but i hope it would not be a problem. So than you might connect me - do this. :)

Hi fahrenheit!
Too bad that you caught a cold.
I hope you can get well sooner!
Remember to take more rests and drink more water!

You live in Lithuania, right?
What time do you usually on-line on skype?
You can tell me that because I know how to calculate the time difference.
And then we can chat on skype directly!

Robert Hi!
I am very ill. I have 39 degrees temperature by celsijus. I have not been at school for all week. I am afraid that it will be very hard to catch up my classmates.
You know, actualy i think we have very big difference. For example in lithuania is 6 p.m. that's right? I think in taiwan is about 2 a.m.
So it is pretty big difference, but i often been in internet between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. in lithuania time. It is wide enough time range, i think. So i do not know how we could make a deal.

Fahrenheit Hi!
How is it going with you?
Still sick or..........?
I really hope you can get well sooner!

Yeah,you are right.
If it is 6 pm in lithuania, Taiwan is 2 am at the same time.
So, it's tough for us to chat on skype..... :(
