The island was named by a Dutch explorer who landed there on ... Easter Day in 1722.
(a) the
(b) an
(c) -
(d) a
Usually we don't use any article before holidays, including Easter Day. However, in this sentence should we use the definite article inasmuch as it is particularized by "in 1722"?
Am I (partly right) ?
Thanks.

No, no article.
