Could you crack this for me?

Post by srikanth »

"Before everything, there were tumbleweeds, yet there, they were"
I have seen this quote in one my friends blog but couldn't understand it. I asked him for explanation. He wrote this explanation but still i couldn't get it. Please someone crack this for me.

It refers to the period when the site was in development. You know when you are in desert, there isn't much and all you see is sand and sometimes little insects that do not signify anything. Tumbleweed here is like an insect pointing out that it's not about quantity or one's own values. It's about whether there is something that one can relate or more importantly might be failing to relate.

Could you crack this for me?
haha I think your friend was on crack when he said that. It makes little sense.

Tumbleweed is a plant that gets blown about (tumbled about) by the wind. Admittedly it grows in arid regions (desert??) but has little to do with ants.

Tumbleweed would not expand its growth range by itself.
It needs to depend on other strengths, and wait in patience.
