"I browsed the whole website."


Does it mean that I took a vague look at a website?




2. If so, is there a verb that means someone took a very detailed look at a website?


For example, would it make sense to say


"I scanned the whole website."


Or would this be ambiguous?

I browsed the whole website implies that you had a deep look, rather than vague. Browse implies you went briefly through all the content.

I I would use the verb glanced, which implies a quick, vague look without paying much attention the details.

For verbs that implies a very detailed look, I would use words such as explored or examined.
