Usage of the word "boisterous"

Post by Turdulus »

Hi folks!

I had seen the word boisterous being used before, so while writing the script for a video of mine, I dropped it there naturally. Turns out that I was reading the definition and examples of the word, and it mostly refers to people. The video is already out there, and I'd like to know if I employed the word in a wrong way.
This was the sentence:

"In essence, Doom 2016 is a game that embodies the exaggeration of violence with its quick action and boisterous gunplay."

Does it sound incorrect?

Sounds fine to me. Even if you are describing a game I think it’s understood that the gunplay is by people. I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
