Noun before quantifier
'I have improved my English a little.' I don't know this sentence is grammatically correct but I don't understand why the quantifier comes after the noun. I hope someone can explain the rule to me please. Thanks

Re: Noun before quantifier
I presume that by quantifier you mean "little". Yet "a little" here serves as an adverb modifying the verb improve.
