expose display show

Post by sorsi »

Hello,
In the sentence, 'they show how they spend their time', can 'display' and 'expose' replace 'show' without any difference in meaning?
Thanks.

Not really. For example, "expose" could mean "show accidentally". "Display" is usually intentional. Without context it's hard to say much more :-|
