'economic' sentence

Post by pachora »

Ciao. I have a question relating to the grammatical acceptability of the sentence below:

"The risk is that, given the heavy reliance on tourism, a further slowdown in revenues from foreign travelers would easy throw the balance of trade into an unsustainable deficit, that can only be corrected primarily through a sharp currency depreciation."

thank you in advance for your help

The risk is that, given the heavy reliance on tourism, a further slowdown in revenues from foreign travelers would EASILY throw the balance of trade into an unsustainable deficit[,] that COULD only be corrected primarily through a sharp currency depreciation.
