Does this sentence work?

Post by jasonlu »

Does this sentence in bold work grammatically and semantically?

A: I have to go into that forest.

B: Why? It’s already raining right now.

A: It’s the only place where I can meditate and get inspiration. If I don’t go there today, I can’t write some good poems tomorrow.

any not some:

If I don’t go there today, I can’t write any good poems tomorrow.

OR, more formally:

If I don’t go there today, I won’t be able to write any good poems tomorrow.
