Unread post by KatyPlechaty »

I have recently been hired to teach english to a belgian woman. although i'm an english teacher, this is my first esl job. I don't know where to start regarding resources. i am responsible for finding my own materials for me and my student. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Use different tools to make up your own worksheets and teach vocabuary in a fun way. You didn't mention the age of your student, but use http://www.thelanguagemenu.com and make up exercises and worksheets there. 11 languages to choose between also made easy with a clipart gallery.
Good luck

I always use http://www.onestopenglish.com/freeresources. There are great downloadable sheets for any level. Hope they're useful ;)
