Meaning

If you are full of yourself you think you're better or more important than you really are.

For example

  • That guy was so full of himself! He couldn't stop talking about himself and all the wonderful things he's done.

  • Gary is so full of himself that he doesn't even realise it when he's boring the people he's talking to.

Note:
You can also say "full of himself", "full of herself", "full of myself", "full of themselves", and so on.
